Hi There!!!
Welcome to my page!! My name is Nakia Latrice Cole (yes that is my whole government name :)) and I am so glad you are here!! Like me, you have survived everyday of your life so far because we are still here! We may be broken, bruised, and on the hot mess express, but we are here!! That counts for so much!!

I am a lover of Jesus, a wife, a mom, a travel agent, a Color Street stylist, a creative, a planner, a speaker, a life coach, and now an author! Whew! That’s a lot right! Tell me about it! All of those things bring me life in different ways. I don’t believe in doing anything that is not life giving. Is it always rainbows and roses? No, but each one of those things fills my cup.

I am an 80’s baby (1984)! Shout out to the 80’s babies! I was born to a single parent and I was a military brat. Just like yours, my life was a journey. My journey has been filled with joy and sorrows, ups and downs, trauma and healing, success and failure, love and loss, hope and hopelessness. In my book, I tell you a lot about my journey.

My mission is to use my story for God’s glory! If my story only helps one person, it will all be worth it. I want you to know that you are not defined by what happened to you. It may have crushed you, it may have damaged you, it may have changed you, but you are still standing. God can take the broken pieces and make something beautiful. He gives us beauty in exchange for the ashes and healing for our brokenness. I am a firm believer in that because He did it for me. Does that mean that I have it all together? Absolutely not. As a matter of fact, God continues to provide His grace, mercy, and love daily as I continue fighting the good fight of faith. I am just here to share a part of my journey with you. We can walk this road together. You are not alone!
